What a pathetic intellectual lightweight this author is. He must be floating in his loafers.

President George W. Bush, like Reagan before him, showed that a limited knowledge of foreign affairs is no impediment to the White House, and in fact, can have a certain populist appeal.

Reagan had a far, far better grasp on foreign affairs than the ENTIRE state dept, House, and Senate combined. Still does, despite being deceased for 4 years.

Of all human traits, I find snobbery the most annoying.

What a jerk. Of ALL the people running for these offices, Sarah is the only NORMAL person from regular upbringing.

No, she appeals to those who know how to judge good character from bad.

This is what liberals consistently fail to grasp, and why they are so sick in the head.

You can feel the hatred this write has for American values.

Well guess what Europe: We didn’t become the lone Superpower in the world with YOUR values. We did it with OURS.

America, F*ck Yeah!

And since when has an understanding of supply side economics, the constitution, the bill of rights, the energy industry, firearms, and the importance of vitory in our wars been considered ‘anti-intellectual’?

Since some light loafered pansy said so?

Being from the frontier has too often been an excuse for American insularity and ignorance towards the rest of the world; however, given America’s global power and responsibilities this is an indulgence that the world, and America, can no longer afford.

No, Americans have a finely tuned BS detector - what the author describes as "anti-intellectualism" is really a distaste for pseudo-intellectualism, fully warranted and obvious to anyone paying attention. Good try though.

When has Sarah ever been anti-intellectual? Not liking out of touch, snooty elitists is not the same thing as anti-intellectualism.

Any article about Sarah that starts off with “Former beauty queen” instead of “Current Alsaskan Governor” is going to be a hit job. Now matter how well coated in Euro-weenerie.

I always thought skepticism to be the highest expression of wisdom, or if not skepticism proper, at least the Socratic/Humean form of anti-intellectual intellectualism. Not that Palin is a Socrates. Just sayin’.

Palin appeals to honest, hard-workin, God-fearing, patriotic Americans with or without education.

She does not appeal to godless, or morally relative, socailist elitists, who believe their secular education causes their own fecal matter to somehow smell sweet.

Such people are what some consider intellectuals...I do not...I consider them godless, or morally relative, socialist elitists who believe their secular education causes their own fecal matter to somehow smell sweet.

Sarah is dishing up such and their elitism for supper as a side dish to fresh Moose.

SARAH PALIN DRAWING HUGE CROWDS ALL ACROSS AMERICA

I was born on an Iowa farm, then after I got my degree, I moved to California where I have worked for a major company for 30 years as an IT profession. I am not an intellectual lightweight by any stretch of the imagination.

But, I like Sarah Palin. Her values are my values. I think that her appeal is because she is not an elite easterner. I am sick to death of the New York/Washington crowd of liberal elitist, who think they are smarter than everyone else.
