I grew up in LA, and was there for the 92 riots (I have since escaped to the south). The only thing city dwellers will have to fear is abdominal strain from laughter when they burn their own slums down, then demand rebuilding projects.
The best one of all was when the Crenshaw post office was burned down, and then they all lined up the next day outside the smoldering remains demanding that the government replace the welfare checks which were destroyed in the post office...they had burned it down the day before they were to be delivered.

I have one of those 18 x 24 sheet metal carports close to my house and my little backhoe is parked under it. I have had thoughts lately of using the backhoe to dig a large hole under there in case I need a good foxhole from which to defend my property. We have some food stocks built up which is good because if McCain wins I don’t want to go to town for at least a month.
