They get it fine.
This is a titanic struggle between traditional American values and the rise of a true socialist movement, and they are over extended. If Obama doesn’t win this, the socialists will fall on their faces. If Obama does win, they will be in Charge, with a capital “C”.
Thus, they will say or do anything to win, as they know this is their last chance to take over for a long, long time.
