Not just Ayers. Almost the entire school system is “liberal”, which we all know is code for marxist.

They don’t want smart Americans, so they’ve taught our children WHAT to think, not HOW to think. Ask anyone educated in the last 20 years in public school. They don’t know what our struggle was and why we were born as a nation, they don’t know how to diagram a sentence or even how to do long division. Stupid. It’s no wonder we don’t turn out many engineers. It’s no wonder people are buying Obummer’s crap.

“or even how to do long division”

I always hated long division.

So what can we do about the hold that the Marxist/socialist elites have on the public schools in this country? It seems they’ve already done a pretty good job of brainwashing kids, even before they’ve fully gotten into power. I am determined that if McCain wins and our country gets another chance, I want to do something, not just breathe a huge sigh of relief and go on my way as I did when Republicans came back into power.

I feel I’m doing what I should for my own children, (My kids go to a two day a week classical Christian school and are homeschooled the other days), so I am thankful they are learning to think, but how can we help the rest of the kids in America? The reality is, only a small percentage will ever be homeschooled. Charter schools and vouchers would be great, but so far it doesn’t seem we’ve been able to break the monopoly of the education bureaucracy in any discernible way. Any ideas?

The reality is, only a small percentage will ever be home-schooled or go to a private school. Charter schools and vouchers would be great, but so far it doesn't seem we've been able to break the monopoly of the education bureaucracy in any discernible way. We have got to take back the educational establishment, from public schools to state universities. Otherwise even if McCain wins and we get a temporary reprieve, we will go through this death struggle in every election cycle from now on!
