His supporters do not care. There just is no stopping him. I feel like America is doomed.

Sometimes I feel like this and then I have to shake it off and pray that people will wake up before election day.

I agree with you that his supporters do not care. They are blind because they have visceral hatred for Republicans and President Bush, and this election is all about payback. But the fat lady has not yet sung. It is not over yet. I hope McCain lands some very big blows tonight. He has to. I hope he’s well practiced because Obama is ready and is also well-practiced and ready with his ready-responses before McCain even opens his mouth. It’s do or die tonight.

God help us but I think that you are correct.

"supporters"

You're right, his supporters do not care. But McCain is after the squishy undecideds (fifteen to twenty percent) who will determine the winner of this election. Before the recent economic panic, McCain and Palin were ahead in the polls. Then after the panic hit, they dropped behind. Many indys switched from McCain to Obama because of the economic troubles. To win the undecideds back McCain must do two things: lay the blame (justifiably) on the Dems for the crash, and clearly outline his economic vision.
