I noticed that Obama did that wide smile and smirky facial contortion on occasions when McCain had him nailed on a subject like Ayers. Now we know how to tell when Obama is lying or covering up. I doubt that he won anything tonight but he would not have lost anybody either which was a given going in. McCain did well for those who actually were interested in substance and I doubt that he lost any voters either. I do expect that he picked up voters who learned that McCain is passionately pro life and a constitutionalist who would pick supreme court justices based on ability, without a litmus test. Obama was very clear that social leniency would be a major consideration in his SC justice selection and probably trump any other consideration, such as adherence to the constitution or precedence of prior law. He would have an activist court. Obama seems to me to be superficial, and smart, and willing to be the front man for the socialists who are on the brink of taking over this Republic. John McCain is so unsuperficial that he seriously does not see the necessity for couching his message in more detail than is necessary, putting himself at a disadvantage when dealing in public with a con man. He is so smart that he cuts right to his point and assumes that is all that is needed. Mccain will be a good president who loves this country and will defend us to the death. I tuned FOX out after the debate as I have little respect for their judgment these days. I still like Brit and sometimes Juan but the rest I can do without.
