The Evans-Novak Report (Oct. 15) is absolutely devastating to all Republicans, including E. Dole, a likely loser now in NC. So the old Helms seat will finally return to its historic Democrat roots. There is virtually no good news in the report except for the FL House seat now in the news held by a Democrat named Mahoney.
Sucks to be us then, I guess.
Look, the election is in three weeks. Could we hold up on the postmortems until then?
And, if the Democratic wave materializes, then we start over on November 5th. We fight now, and if we lose, we fight again.
This is still a center-right country, and John McCain connected with that silent majority tonight. I have faith that they will not choose the Socialist.
