The President gets to appoint his Judges with the “advice and consent of the Senate”.
Traditionally that has meant that any qualified candidate; even if they disagreed with your judicial philosophy and agreed with the President.
This is also a direct contradiction of one of Bidens VP debate points. He took CREDIT for the utter politicization of Judge appointments by Borking Bork.
