Well, sure. Bubba was (ultimately) an EXPERIENCED politician, which means that you can always get him to act against his principles if you can make him see that his power might otherwise be jeopardized (like in '92 when Congress went to the Republicans). An inexperienced political hack like 0bama doesn't know when he should throw his Marxist views over the railing and just play ball - so he's inherently more dangerous to himself AND the rest of the country.
