It’s safe to say that McCain was ready for that question
McCain calls him a liar and gives two shinning examples - Obama responds “well ... look. (thinking of a reply) “Political campaigns are tough.”
McCain went on the offensive and hasn’t let up. Obama has either defended, whined or changed the subject to his tired old talking points. McCain has thrown out the rule book. I hope he can sustain this onslaught.
Rush has been saying all along “Obama can’t close the deal.”
Morris has been saying, “Obama has peaked too soon.”
It’s now official. The bounce McCain is setting up is gonna leave a mark and make Obama a footnote to history. with thirty minutes to go, only a major blunder can undo the advantage McCain has just opened up.
