On Today’s Show...

Show Highlight: Gov. Palin calls in to talk with Rush about the state of the McCain campaign, the media, and her future. Transcript. (Rush 24/7 Members: Listen Here)

Palin is the "most electrifying speechmaker among the four politicians on the major party tickets," according to NY Times. So, of course, the media urges her to...stop, 'cause she's offending the independents who were supposed to elect McCain. Rush is right: independents are just Democrats-in-Waiting. (Rush 24/7 Members: Listen Here)
» The LA Times: Sarah Palin Stirs Up Controversy in the Wink of an Eye

Pearl of Wisdom: "The Drive-Bys are getting worried about Sarah Palin, saying that her speeches are 'riveting' but too partisan. So, her stem-winder speeches are sending independents over to the Democrats. The Democrats? They're nothing but partisan hacks! They are the most hateful, partisan people in politics in America today."

Chris Cillizza of the Washington Post: Palin's appeal to Rush Limbaugh's audience risks alienating McCain from the "ideological middle." What the heck is that?

The Drive-Bys were obsessed with GOP Congressman Mark Foley's messages to a page, but they won't give us the "ugly details" of Foley's Democrat replacement Tim Mahoney's sex scandal. Mahoney threatened his mistress, paid her $120,000 in hush money, and involved the House Democrat Leadership in the cover-up to keep his seat.

Obama reveals the socialist beliefs he absorbed in academia and with radicals like Ayers and Alinsky, telling a plumber that an Obama presidency will take money from people like him and "spread the wealth" around. (Rush 24/7 Members: Listen Here)

The ugliness in Obama's crowds. Will David Gergen and the Drive-Bys demand Obama tone down hate like this KKK display? (Rush 24/7 Members: Listen Here)

Reverend Jackson promises that Obama will limit the clout of Jews in government.

ACORN's aim is not to register phony voters to cast ballots for Obama. It's to muddy the waters on Election Day and create chaos at the polls. That will create an opening for their lawyers to go in and contest other votes. (Rush 24/7 Members: Listen Here)
» Chicago Tribune: Feds Bust Spam E-Mail Ring (But Leave ACORN Alone!)

Radical Marxists like Bill Ayers, Rev. Wright, ACORN, and Tom Hayden have been trying to overthrow capitalism and cut America down to size for 40 years. Now they're three weeks away from electing one of their own. (Rush 24/7 Members: Listen Here)

But We Couldn't Have Mitt Romney Because He's a Mormon!
CNN's Campbell Brown: So What if Obama was a Muslim or an Arab?

Pearl of Wisdom: "In a speech to a whopping 85 people, The Politico's John Harris predicts an Election Day rout. The Republicans are going to have so few members in the House and Senate, they'll be unable to stop anything so there'll be no partisanship."

Barney Frank runs for the tall grass and admits that not everybody can afford a home, so some should rent. Plus, Tom Brokaw says we all need to downsize and be socialist.

He was pretty upbeat today especially after speaking with Sarah Palin! She has so much energy and I feel so terrible for what the media has done to her, but she moves forward.
He asked her about her policital life after the election and she said she didn’t think about it, she is just working toward Nov. 4th.
