His civility was the respect for the Office of President of the United States.
And, what is the point of disrespecting the office when it is to no purpose? A president usually leaves office gracefully - especially since he has no power.

“Yawn... Yeah, we’ll get to it next week after the debates. We don’t want to look like we are interfereing wiht the election. Besides, the American people are so dumb they won’t even notice.”

The mighty Bubba fired every US attorney the week he took office. All Republican appointees were sent packing and the spots were filled with leftists and FOB.
If they don't prosecute or seek a court order ala 6th Circuit, it won't matter.

Is there an audio link to Obama denying ties to ACORN? I think it is time for episode 4 of OBAMA STORIES FOR KIDS on YouTube. Is there audio of Tony Folkes saying she hired him as a trainer? Thanks for the help.

“I agree. There needs to be an immediate cease and desist order placed on ACORN, all the forms they have turned in need to be impounded, and their assets need to be frozen. The problem of fraud is so massive that only a strong national stand can be taken to restore any hope of a fair election.”
At the risk of getting flamed off this site forever... I wish Bobby Kennedy were still alive. Seems like he'd be the kind of guy who'd go ballistic over this issue and actually use the AG job to stop this nonsense. Or... maybe I'm just being a bit nostalgic.

No assumptions. When I see critical statements against Bush - I react because FR has been merely a complaint dept.
No support of the party or our President.
The conservatives(?) railing against the failure of any elected to complete their individual missions designated by each poster. Destroying their leaders while democrats march against us winning battle after battle. We are a pitiful lot, never able to be cohesive, supportive, or stand together and fight.
Our efforts do not lead to conservatism - they lead to the destruction of our democracy. Which is what we face.
And, many of the Bush complainers will willingly cave to the onslaught of an Obama presidency without a fight. Bet they will not treat him as they did Bush.

“It will never happen, but I see this as a potential Constitutional crisis in the making. And, since ACORN, has illegally offered consideration for registrations, every illegal registration should be a separate count on the indictment.”
Hey, if the Federal election is a sham and the Federal government has just tossed the Constitution out the window to bail out Wall Street, do I still have to pay Federal income taxes? Why do I have to comply when they don't? That's not fair!

Well none of us get 100%, we don’t get even 75%.
What we want and what is possible in this Washington are never the same.

The WSJ had an editorial in today's paper connecting the dots between Barack Obama and ACORN, and calling for a federal investigation. Obama's ties to ACORN are deep and wide and any investigation of ACORN would not be complete without tying the two together as one package.
