I thought Gary Gilmore had a shot of whiskey as part of his last meal. I could be wrong.
According to Wikipedia:
On the morning of his execution, he enjoyed a last meal consisting of a hamburger, hard-boiled eggs, a baked potato, a few cups of coffee, and three shots of contraband whiskey.
I guess it was smuggled in.
