Just got back from The Falls last weekend. Saw Old Fort Erie, Laura Secord House, McFarland House as well. My kids’ first time there. After driving the Niagara Parkway, the kids all wanted to stay. I had to explain to them that not EVERYBODY in Canada lives in houses like those we saw on the scenic route in vineyard country. They think everyone up there is a gajillionaire.

We enjoyed seeing the campaign signs. The kids said something like “look, they have annoying yard signs just like we do”.

In any case, best of luck up there. Here’s hoping conservatism wins the day.

Thanks for the good wishes.

Scenic Parkway is low-displacement motorbike heaven. I love going in through Lundy’s Lane, up the Parkway past the whirlpool, through the old battlefields then lunch in Niagara-on-the-Lake.

Just this summer, the girlfriend and I went to Niagara for our first time...beautiful. And the drive up to Niagara-on-the-Lake...wow. We toured a vineyard up there too.
