You make it sound as though only poor kids, or black kids, or Mexican kids are rutting around like dogs. Yesterday I learned that my lily white, high upper class nephew and his "long time" (never heard of her before) girlfriend are having a baby in February. I urged his mother to tell him to get a DNA test BEFORE he signs *any* papers WRT the baby. She scoffed and called me paranoid. Well, I tried.

I guess its just my week to be disbelieved on the importance of these sorts of issues. I think I'll change my name to Cassandra. Oh, the irony.

I’m well aware that lots of middle and upper class kids get pregnant. My point was, in the context of kids APPLYING FOR WELFARE being required to name the biological father, that such girls have a significant probability of not knowing the father’s actual legal name.
