I can't argue with the validity of that but at least Reagan publicly endorsed the benefits of a traditional family life and acted as "something" of a role model for that in his second marriage with Nancy. GWB and his father have done the same.

It is one thing for a politician to talk the talk on *any* subject but few of them walk the talk in their own personal lives. I think a politician who does what he says others should do, should at least get credit for doing that much.

No ... I mean this all started with “welfare reform” - which was actually family law reform. It was the result of Ronald Reagan jumping on the N.O.W. bandwagon and then selling it to the public with conservative rhetoric. I think you know that.
