Didn’t McCain vote against the Ensign amendment to deny benefits to illegals, or are you referring to another vote ?

Well, in esecne, McCain gets around it by saying that they only voted to table the amendment, and that the only question regarded social security benefits to people who would be made legal under the act and would recover monies they had already put into the syste,

Now, I do not personally agree with the McCain-Kennedy Bill overall and believe it would have extended social security benefits to illegals (even if it did so after making them legal) and that's why on my site I have removed that reference.
