Profuse apologies. That should have been titled ‘McCain closes gap’.

No apology necessary; you just delivered the news a couple of days early.

Again profuse apologies for not paying closer attention.. Incidentally one major drawback of FR is the lack of an auto-editing facility.

That’s the most accurate poll in this entire season.

I’ll take it to the bank.

That’s fine, I understand. However, unless it gets changed soon, your entire thread will be people making snide comments (like mine lol) about the misleading title. I’d rather focus on the poll.

13% undecided will go 80% for McCain, net result, McCain+7.

It should say “McCain Enjoys Surge in the Polls.”

Why a campaign would give a specific number is beyond me.

That didn't make any sense to me either, except maybe to get more donations and volunteers for the coming blitzkrieg.

A tie means the score is the same, not different and if the MOE is 3 or 4 points, it only helps one way, the other way widens the gap even more. And being down is not in the lead, no matter how you slice it! lol

I'll pass on the kool aid, thanks!

I wonder how many PUMA’s are in that 13%, the great unsaid or unseen so far, is a noticable change in female voters going for Sarah Palin.

I’m hoping and indeed, praying that a new political phenom, the Palin Effect emerges this Election, women who are going to vote against their typical party affinity but won’t mention it to pollsters.

Ping the Admin Moderator and they’ll fix the title for you.

Do you have the link to the site with the polls (the one referenced in the linked post), can you get it?

Hey, if the MSM can say Obama is up 11, than we can say 43 is better than 45.

Hey, don’t worry about it. We can read. It was obvious that you just made an error in the title.

Unfortunately not. I am just re-circulating information provided by 'Peppermint Patty' in H.C.forum.

If you have high self esteem and think positive 43% is like mavbe 46 or 47% unless the other guy already has 47%, then you have to say 43% with a song in your heart and a strong voice, and if you know that you are as good as anyone else out there, then 43% means like almost 51% or something.
