Palin: We can't let 'leftist groups…steal this election' (Since McCain won't, get 'em Palin!)

The McCain campaign is fundraising off embattled community group ACORN.

“The truth is that far-left groups in this country will do anything to help the Obama-Biden Democrats win the White House and maintain their majorities in Congress,” Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin writes in a fund-raising e-mail sent out Monday afternoon. “And last week, we found out they're going even further to win.”

“The left-wing activist group, ACORN, is now under investigation for voter registration fraud in a number of battleground states. . . . We can't allow leftist groups like ACORN to steal this election.”

ACORN called the McCain camp’s suggestion “ridiculous.”

I don’t know what’s in his mind...or strategy.

Maybe the “media” is not who he’s playing to.

You don’t have to tell me anything to depress me further.

All of this “audacity of fraud” has taken a great toll on my health.

I’m to the point where I just want it *over*, one way or another because *not* knowing what is going to happen is harder on me than whatever *does* happen.

Plus, I’m going to lose my best friend if he wins.

As jerky as it sounds, I really don’t think I’ll be able to graciously suffer her gloating, especially knowing that she contributed to the destruction of this country because she is, despite her great faith in her “intellect”, utterly ignorant of what she is voting for.
Add to that, a Zero win will tank the home business we depend on to survive.

Not only will the country I love cease to exist, I stand to lose a LOT personally Nov. 2.

I am trying to save both my health and sanity by thinking of some positives, for a change.

I am trying very hard to muster up a little *hope* and *faith*.

At the moment, given his surfeit of nicenes, there’s a good chance a vote for McCain will be cast out of sympathy, not conviction.

Just go kiss your butt good-bye...and don't even think about jumping in my fox-hole.

Take your surfeit of nicenes...and stuff it!!

I knew Sarah Palin was a runner, and a moose hunter...but I didn’t know she had practiced running with a moose over her shoulders. That’s about how she has had to run this race...

I believe like most that she is Mccains pit bull, she says what he would like to but has to step back because the vultures in the media are waiting for just that moment. Mccain knows she is the future and he also knows if it weren’t for her he would be dust. This sets Sarah up for the future in the conservative movement. This is a team, Mccain I’m sure would love to come out of the gate fighting but needs to stay civil and repectable.

Thanks.
I knew I’d get pounded for saying that but I said it for my own soul and sanity as well.

Right now, I’m constantly praying and hoping that God spares us all.

[but I’m sick from the stress of it all]

I believe McCain can sound reasonable yet tough, as long as he's short and accurate with his attacks and long with the facts. Palin does it like a pro.

You think Slick Willy had a Teflon hide, wait till Obama gets elected. Nothing will stick to him. He learned well from Clinton’s. The media will cover for this guy beyond anything we have ever seen in history. It will be the “Racist” mantra on every legitimate criticism, or it will be covered up or sugared over in every thing Obama screws up.

Get ready for the most sickening display of audacity in history and no matter what we do, it will just bounce off and go away.

I’d be quite happy to stuff the niceness (even in a most uncomfortable place) if it meant that McCain would go for the Big Ears’ throat. Instead, we get Mr. Civility.

As for jumping in your foxhole, well that’s part of the problem, too.

An Army hunkered down in foxholes isn’t an army that’s advancing — and we need to be taking ground. Lots of it and fast.

I have lifelong anxiety disorder from being repeatedly molested as a child.
I also have chronic PTSD from the above which “acts up” when the anxiety level goes beyond what I can normally manage.

I don’t really get a “choice” about how I handle stress.

I do pretty well, considering.

I have not given up else I would not still be here.

If this were an interpersonal conflict, I’d be kicking ass with no stress but it is not.
It is an impersonal thing beyond my physical scope of personal control.

[to whit, the anxiety disorder kicks in, full force, yet I keep on going, hoping and praying]

Thanks for your merciful camaraderie, fellow FReeper.

God bless you, too.

And you just know Zero and the media are waiting for his “he’s gone berserk with rage” moment.

He can -not- have one if he wants to pull this off.
