Jessica Hughes of Lufkin, Texas, former Marine, mother of three, answered her cell phone in the car, coming home from the emergency room. Her 9-year-old had suffered a mild concussion, but was OK.
The caller was a female Obama volunteer who asked if Jessica would support Obama for president.
Jessica replied, "No, I don't support him. Your guy is a socialist who voted four times in the state Senate to let little babies die in hospital closets; I think you should find something better to do with your time." Then Jessica hung up.
The next day, a man and a woman in suits showed up at the door of her home, identifying themselves as members of the Secret Service.
The Secret Service agents stated that the Obama campaign had complained of a death threat. They had quoted Jessica as saying, "I will never support Obama, and he will wind up dead on a hospital floor."
Jessica's husband had heard Jessica's side of the original phone call and verified the actual quote. To which the female agent replied, "Oh? Well why would she (the Obama volunteer) make that up?"

“I do not believe the agents were really Secret Service.”
You do have to wonder about that. Real Federal Agents are not shy about showing their credentials. Someone needs to make a complaint to start the ball rolling. If these people weren’t Feds then the Secret Service will be very interested in them.
I would call the secret service , and tell them that I was visited by them, and tell them the story. They would have a record.

I’m not sure I believe this story... can anyone corroborate it?
I’m a Federal Law Enforcement Officer and I’m getting ready for the very real possibility of my own agency being used as a force of oppression.
Real Federal Agents have smuggled drugs and illegal aliens into this country. It's not a stretch to believe that SS agents might abuse their authority.
Why do I have the ugly feeling we ain’t seen nothing yet?

Yeah, I read that after I posted, but the direct quote from Jessica is: "The male Agent gave me a card and told me I could contact Houston with any questions."
I notice there is no name given and that makes me wonder if the card was personalized with the "agent's" name or if it was a generic with just the address and phone info for the Houston Office.
Also, anybody can make a phony card--I'm pretty sure you could do it on your computer.
Houston isn't talking YET other than to say they're investigating which could mean anything from they're investigating Jessica, to they're investigating the improper behavior of the "agents", to "who the hell is this guy with his name on our card", to who the hell are these people with a generic card pretending to be US.
I look forward to hearing their report when/if they make one. It will certainly be interesting to every one of us here, won't it.

My lawyer got a call from the American Bar Association while we were sitting around waiting for a closing to occur. Put it on speaker phone, telling me “I hate these people.”
ABA saleslady “Hi, I’ve noticed that you are not a member of the ABA and . . “
Lawyer (interrupting): “Well, does the ABA still support only judges who want to murder babies in the mother’s womb?”
ABA saleslady: “what, whaa? What’cha talkin ‘bout?”
Lawyer: “The ABA opposes routinely gives judges bad marks on grounds that they oppose Roe v. Wade or other liberal positions. Is pro-murder still the ABA’s position? I don’t support anyone who wants to kill children. Do you know you were working for that kind of organization?”
ABA salselady “wha? What? We have a credit card .and discounts at . . “
Lawyer “No thank you. Maybe you should know about the organization for which you work.”

Hey all, yes I am still around but this is mushrooming like crazy. I get calls all day long! It’s jsut unbelievable, lol. I am glad it is getting attention but on Sunday I refused to even let my husband turn on the PC till late at night. I said “This is eating my life I need a day off”, lol. I refinished some kitchen cabinets, and picked on a minority homeless person, you know, standard activities for a bigoted, heartless neo-con b*tch, lmao.
I’d rather thank all of you. I am so humbled by the prayers and support I have received here. Thanks for putting this article up...I was pretty stunned to see my name in WND, lol. Sorry I haven’t been posting but once I get started it’s like an addiction, lol.
Well they got my cell phone number. My husband and two sons were in the car when they called. Their number is in my call log. I will leave it to my lawyer to determine who needs to receive the complaints, the list is growing. And no, I don’t want to change my cell number, it is for work purposes and I won’t allow some nitwit college koolaid junkie to cause me to have to contact every client I have dealt with in the last three years to give them a new number.
I want to clarify about the agents validity. In my personal acct I do say that the male Agent conceded to give me a business card and the female agent’s name. While I am making no personal contact with them (I am leaving that end to my lawyer this week) several media outlets have called and questioned them at the Houston office # on the card. To date, no one has spoken with the actual agents, but NEITHER HAS THE SECRET SERVICE DENIED that agents were sent. I am assuming they were agents who were too pissy about my reaction to deign to let me see their ID after the initial quick-flip (where I couldn’t even see the ID).
