Requests have been pouring in from the mainstream media and liberal politicians for John McCain and Sarah Palin to apologize and distance themselves from so-called divisive and intolerant comments made by rally attendees.
Referring to the words as alarms, the New York Times via Frank Rich cited the following: The raucous and insistent cries of Treason! and Terrorist! and Kill him! and Off with his head! as well as the uninhibited slinging of racial epithets .
Doing nothing is not an option, Rich wrote.

Some Joe Sixpack says something at a McCain/Palin rally and to the Obamedia, it’s the end of the world as we know it. Some moron from Hollyweird says the same kind things and the Obamedia praises them for it and tell us how brilliant these celebrities are.
Well, well...I wonder what rally Rich was at where he “heard” racial epithets being thrown around. Rich needs to stop listening to the voices in his head.
This guy has no credibility and is certifiably insane.
The Left doesn’t notice hate they agree with. And anyway, they distinguish between hate that is deserved versus the bad kind. If you’re a Repub, you asked for it.
Citizen you still don’t understand the new Free Speech in The Socialist States of America. The ELITE Party members don’t follow the rules assigned to the peons. Don’t be alarmed when those ELITE deomcrat party members don’t pay taxes, are the only ones allowed to own guns, and aren’t prosecuted for ANY crime. OK well it’s not that different than typical DEMS.....LOL
Absolutely. The loony left have said a lot more outrageous things than the “kill him” guy (if he even exists).
Someone portraying “Joe Sixpack” says something at a rally (or is REPORTED to say something at a rally that has been investigated but never coroborated, even by a Secret Service investigation) and we are supposed to accept that it HAD to be a Republican and not a disrupter.
There has been some investigation that these are really Democrats slurring the GOP. Look up astroturf roots.
It would not surprise me. The same LA Times journalist who was inside the Church of the Nativity with the muslim gunmen, was also at the Elian street protests in Miami and was arrested for throwing rocks at police (trying to ignite a riot to report on).
Perfect soundbite!
BTTT!
Anybody in Colorado who would like to have a chat with Mr. Rich?

Hmmmmmm Sounds like a toned down version of what MSM and the lib leadership, traitors all, have been assaulting Bush and our military with for the past 8 years. The libs have threatened all of America, our freedoms and way of life.....there is a price for that.
They have done their best to steal the future of our children and grandchildren. We are angry now and many should take fair warning that there truly is a breaking point and it may be very near.
Yes Obama, “words have meaning”. Perhaps these words should give you a hint of what is on the horizon.
God save our country and God help us all....
I do NOT believe that people in the audience said “kill him!” I’d have to see that on tape before I would believe anything out of Frank Rich’s column. He might do well to look at murder statistics and see which voting districts have the higher “kill” rate - surprise - it’s the Dem regions. With the last election Walter Cronkite claimed that those of us in the fly-over states who voted for George Bush might be “too dumb to vote.” Maybe we should see a break-down by district of ACT and SAT scores and compare which districts tend to score highher - once again, I would bet that Detroit, Milwaukee, LA, Washington DC and other consistently Dem areas score lower which makes them the “dumb” ones.
I am tired of the press claiming that the Republicans are the “violent” voters or the “dumb” voters. Maybe Frank Rich should check some statistics - but wouldn’t want to do that since that would not fit into his partisan agenda.
