I knew about Morris and his trip to Kenya back in 2007. I don’t see why that would matter. Morris is a democrat who worked on the Clinton campaign. He harbors ill feelings towards the Clintons now, but he is not a conservative. I just don’t see Morris being such a big influence in squelching a story like this.
Why not?
He helped Obama's relative lose an election (while trying to help him win it) and is a very opportunistic (read slimy) guy.
He went to Africa to help a Muslim (and a relative of Obama's, and Obama helped this vicious Muslim with his campaign too) with a very shady past and future win election.
When Morris' and Obama's candidate lost, he was responsible for riots and many deaths.
Although I do agree I don't think Morris has the power to influence anything.
He's one of those that both sides see as disposable. IMO
