Your post has me in tears. Sadly you are right. We are ignorantly following a path that will ultimately end America up in a dung heap...but it will be over by then. No turning back. Better prepare ourselves for it now.

I am not a sage of any kind, but, I must say, one can more clearly see these things (and impending disasters) about America when viewed from afar.
It is truly sad and sickening to witness our national demise right before our eyes. But, we are not the first society in the history of civilization to do so.
