No, it's not working. There are bigger and better issues that should be discussed and brought to light.

For example, Obama's tax policy. Yes BO wants to go after the those making $250,000 or more. why not point out that this group already pays more that 53% of all taxes in the United States. They also receive less than 25 cents for each dollar they spend. Barack is all about taxes being neighborly—well, that's pretty neighborly to me.

Instead of wasting so much energy on Ayers, I want to see the RNC target specific points of Obama's plans. I want to see the McCain campaign be specific about how his plans for this nation are better than Obama's plans.

Frankly, I'm damn sick and tired of all the focus on issues that we not only will never win, but have little if no impact on the people. Voters want to know which candidate will allow them to survive the meltdown. I spoke with a little old lady who had most of her assests tied up in Wachovia stocks. Her retirement fund lost 90% of its value in one day. This lady is a strong Republican, but doesn't give a damn about Bill Ayers. Putting Bill Ayers in the electric chair will not refinance her retirement funds.

Stick with the economy. Stick with energy. When we do, we gain votes.
