McCain is supposedly getting "nasty" and "vicious"? Sounds like excuses for jumping ship.
A lot of moderates who would not vote for McCain liked him when he was a sophisticated, ironic maverick loser scoring points against the simplistic Bush and other cardboard-cut-out conservatives. Now he has the onus of winning a campaign and cant be a noble, tragic loser;so it is easy to say he is no good since he is less than perfect. The sure iconoclastic loser has an attraction that the mainstream conservative possible winner does not....

Nonsense. Admiral McCain is about to hit Obama with at least $200 million in ads. As Col. Walter Kurtz (Marlon Brando) in Apocolypse Now said “the horror.”
Hey McCain, since you’re too much of a puss to directly confront the opposition, PLEASE do this one thing. Announce that Rudy Giuliani will be your Attorney General and that his first order of business will be to target and bring down those responsible for the Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac/Wall Street swindle. And then LET RUDY DO THE TALKING, LET HIM NAME SOME NAMES, and he’ll have the guts and the eloquence to do it properly. And then, McCain, you can continue to puss out but still get elected President.
Here Here Great Strategy.
About a week ago Dick Morris was plaoting this idea also,
Hey at least a broken clock is right twice
ploating = floating
Great idea, especially since the cat has McCain’s tongue when it comes to saying anything negative about Obama.
Elect McCain for “Pussmaster General.”
I’m still SOooooo P.O.d at his stunt this week of praising Obama! I still cannot believe he did that!
But does Bambi then announce Hillary as his AG? How sweet if then she declines. I’m not so sure she would. Getting confirmed is another thing.
“...about to hit Obama with at least $200 million in ads...”
Is that for true or are you pulling my leg?
There is so much going on I can’t keep up with everything.
Thank you.
I laughed my ARSE OFF at your tagline!
Your bumper-sticker comment-
My sister and I were visiting our state fair yesterday.
She was wearing a NObama t-shirt and had a giant bumper sticker plastered across it as well.
She was getting some UGLY stares and comments from every er, um, AFRICAN AMERICAN she walked by.
She got the bumper sticker and a button from the RNC booth which was among other commercial booths in a pavillion on the premises. When they handed her these items, they begged her NOT TO WEAR THEM (for fear of violence) and said they were initially told by the fair administrators that they could not give out those items. It is unclear whether they raised HELL and were then allowed to do so or were just bucking the system.
“McCain is supposedly getting “nasty” and “vicious”?”
How many elections are we going to have where the Democrats use this same, old, tired script. The Republicans are mean! The Republicans are unfair!
I don’t care what the Democrats and their fellow Democrats in the news media think. I have freedom of speech, and I will use it appropriately and responsibly - something the Democrats don’t always do.
If McDole continues blowing love kisses to b.hussein at last debate, even ads running 24/7 will be useless.
MCCAIN AND SARAH PALIN ARE GOING TO WIN.....BARING MASSIVE FRAUD, SOME OF WHICH HAS BEEN CAUGHT ALREADY, WITH THE HELP OF DISENFRANCHISED DEMOCRATS AND LOYAL PUBS, AND ALL THOSE TERRIFIED BY A HUSSEIN ADMINISTRATION, WE WILL DRAG JOHN MCCAIN ACROSS THE FINISH LINE, BEING LEAD BY SARAH PALIN....
but the question remains....what will the antis here on Fr help in that cause or will that hurt it?
Funny they should say this and meanwhile the polls are narrowing.
Even overseas, he’s being portrayed as “dishonorable” as per a poster on the Irish Times website political blog. Beyond reason, simply beyond reason.
Interesting idea. I like it.
