McCain Camp, RNC To Spend $160 Million In Final Weeks

This is what I was talking about when I said Team McCain and the RNC understand the strategy about "Don't Fire till You See the Whites of their Eyes".

Three weeks is a lifetime in politics.

Rightly or wrongly, this has always been McCain's strategy. Too bad that Saddleback Forum wasn't this week. But in retrospect, Saddleback caused a lot of conservatives to conclude that they not only could work for McCain, they had to.

At any rate, the McCain people have said that it all comes down to the last 72 hours, and in a non-incumbent race, I think they are right.
