McCain Camp, RNC To Spend $160 Million In Final Weeks

John McCain's campaign and the Republican National Committee plan to spend "upwards of $160 million" in the final weeks of the presidential race, according to a senior McCain adviser.

This will represent a massive counter-attack to combat Barack Obama's lopsided spending advantage to date.

The McCain adviser told FOX News that, while Obama is outspending them in all but two of 14 battleground states, "that will change over the last four weeks."

As national and battleground state polls show McCain trailing Obama consistently, McCain is urging voters not to count him out.

"In case you missed it, this is about the seventh or eighth time that pundits have said 'McCain's campaign is in trouble,'" he told Wisconsin voters Thursday. "We fooled them then and we will fool them again."

“Bill Clinton is a buffoon at times but he is no fool. The Clintons want MEGA payback”.

...absolutely correct! the signs Bill has been giving off that he and Hill plan to blow up the Hussein campaign are endless. “Will start campaigning when the jewish holidays are over”, “that Palin is one hot ticket” etc. DeeDee Myers(a major Clinton player)heaped praise on Palin and so has Hillary. She wants a crack at 2012 and she will NOT be denied.

That’s expected on the coast with all those Libtards. But you can’t win the state with moonbats alone.

With the gay marriage on the ballot again turnout will be great. Obama will not get the Republican, Independent and Reagan Democrat voters.

The MSM has been working overtime this election.

As national and battleground state polls are skewed to show McCain trailing Obama consistently, McCain is urging voters not to count him out.

McCain needs to make the point in the debate that Barry’s proposed doubling of the capital gains tax is making some people pull out of the market early and that if his policies get enacted he could tank the whole economy. Now is the time to LOWER the capital gains tax and get people back in the market.

I wonder if any of that money will be used to put McCain on prime time national television for a half hour ad.

I hope not. Obama is a Communist/Marxist and he thinks that 30 minute spot will be a good idea. He is overlooking an obvious flaw in his thought process; America is still free and he is not our "Dear Leader" yet and we are not his captive audience. A few of his cultists will tune in for a while but everyone else will get bored and change the channel. See, change is good. :)

“That brings us to 200 [electoral votes],” the adviser said. “The next level is where we make or break. We need to really worry about Ohio, Florida, Virginia and Nevada.”

...also, we can’t let quotes like this bring us down. There is polling data inside the McCain camp that very well could be more positive than they let on. They have to keep people interested and concerned so they’ll actually vote on election day!
