Anybody ever here the story about the child of the Weather Underground convicted killer Kathy Boudin.

Her son, Chesa Boudin, 23, told the press that her mother wants to apologize personally to the victims' families. "It's very important to her that the families of those three men - know how terribly she feels about what happened," he said.

Chesa's father, David Gilbert, who drove one of the getaway vehicles in the bloody hold-up, is serving a 75-year-to-life sentence in Attica prison and will be eligible for parole himself in 2056. Gilbert has never cooperated with authorities in the investigation of the crime, which netted Boudin and friends $1.6 million in cash.

Chesa was later raised by comrades Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn

Chesa in 2008 would now be 28 years old. Funny how Obama said that Ayers had kids that went to school with his kids. I hope that some 527 or the McCain Campaign is really running the roots trail of anybody that Obama might have met along the way in NYC.

Chesa is not a boy scout either. He is a leftist like Ayers and Dohrn who raised him.

I'm am really scared for America.

Here's a nice writeup on Chesa Boudin from a fellow Yalie.
"For most Yalies, the name Chesa Boudin '03 is not likely to ring a bell. He is the son of Kathy Boudin and David Gilbert, who in a 1981 robbery gone awry, aided in the murder of two police officers and a Brinks security guard in Nyack, N.Y. They were members of the Weathermen, a ragtag group of mostly white, mostly privileged kids who arose from the dark underbelly of the social and political upheaval of the 1960s. Chesa caused a minor stir in the media four years ago when he won a Rhodes scholarship, due to the way in which he spoke admirably of his parents' sordid past. Today, he would not be worth writing a column about were it not for his obsession with keeping himself in the spotlight. Nor, for that matter, should the sins of the father be held against the son. But when the son rationalizes away those sins and conflates them with his own political work, he becomes harder to stomach. Last month, along with several other Western political pilgrims, Chesa was interviewed by The New York Times about his working for the regime of Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez. He has translated into English a book of interviews with Chavez and this year published "The Venezuelan Revolution: 100 Questions and 100 Answers." He has delivered two master's teas at Yale in the past few months, extolling the virtues of the Caudillo of Caracas.
The precocious bastard raised by Bill Ayres and Bernadine Dohrn is also mentioned on the second page of this NY Times article about visitors to Hugo's Venezuela.
