THere was a story posted here the other day about this. Apparently the Flyers’ owner is a hugh McCain/Palin booster.
The MSM story groaned that there was nothing the NHL could/would do to deter Gov Palin’s appearance. Real sob story.

Philly crowds are tough.
I was up there for McCartney a few years back. They had this DJ come on to warm up the crowd, and they gave him about five minutes and then proceeded to wear this guy out for boos and catcalls. It was the funniest thing I’ve ever seen.
