Maine Alaskas First Dude Todd Palin received an enthusiastic welcome to Maine Saturday afternoon while attending a barbecue and pressing the flesh at the Moosehead Trading Post.
Palin, husband of Alaska governor and vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin, apparently prefers the First Dude moniker, as many of the women in the estimated crowd of 500 that filled the trading posts parking lot in anticipation of pallin around with Palin, were wearing pink sweat shirts emblazoned with the phrase Maines 2nd District welcomes Alaskas 1st Dude.

Todd’s on the list of the ten most luckiest men in the world.
Is Bangor apart of the 2nd CD? Looks like we have a really good shot to play up there. If we take NH, but lose CO, we still win.
Yea! Maniacs! and GOD BLESS SARAH and Todd PALIN and their Wonderful “AMERICAN FAMILY!!!!!”
I have friends in Chelsea, Maine and they tell me their state is going to go McCain! because of Palin!
I really like the way Todd handles himself, this man has potential, he does us all proud.
Yes Bangor is part of the 2nd District.
Pretty much everything north of Portland is.
Huge geographical area.
He should have gone up to Eustis! He could have picked up gotten a bumper sticker at the Trails End that says, “Get usless in Eustis”.
If the presses and television of America gave the Palin couple a chance, they could sell themselves and their ideas, but the news...is biased. Hoarce Greeley would have been apalled at the unprofessional approach to journalism. Like here in Mexico, you PAY to get your story on the front page.
Problem will be that the Mass. folk will cast their Mass. vote and head up to their retreats in VT, NH, and Maine to do so again.
They’re doin’ it all over the country.
I think Greeley was born “down south”...in New Hampshire!
no need to give up on Colorado.
If Massachusetts can vote for a Republican Governor MItt Romney, they sure as heck can vote for a Republican President , it is not out of the realm of possiblities.
How could an Irish Catholic vote for Obama? I don’t get it.
Sarah and Todd would love Northern Maine!
Aroostook County in particular.
How any Christian, regardless of ethnicity or national origin, could vote for an absurdly pro-abortion-loving, anti-baby (not necessarily redundant when one considers his hatred of unwanted ex-utero live infants) thug is 100% beyond me.
Obama considers his own potential grandchildren to be punishment of his daughters, and thereby he justifies the infants’ massacre.
Disgusting to me.
Where have our collective morals gone?
If you could go back to 200- & 2004 the "snowbirds" were doing it then as well. Vote in NY, NJ and elsewhere the drive on down to Florida and vote there.
Somehow, someday I would hope there is a way to register folks like a driver's license or national voter ID card (like a credit card or something) that will disallow anyone from voting more than once. I would mind less if folks could vote anywhere (permanent or temporary resident) but that's all they get. If your a NYer or NJer in FL and vote there, then there is no vote for you in NY or NJ and vice versa!
This ACORN business has record number of college students registered in VA and nothing stops them from voting absentee from the 'home' as well.
Vote fraud, in my opinion discourages people from bothering to vote...a sort of "why should I bother when all the kids are voting two-to-one against me?" / "why should I bother voting when the dead voters out-number me 10 to 1"? / "why should I bother voting when the number of registered voters totals 120 percent of the number of people old enough to vote in my county"?
Rules! Rules! We are now have a Todd Palin posting rule. Thank you.
Todd Palin bttt
Yes, Aroostook County would be a good place for them to visit. And while they’re in Aroostook, they could go on up to Allagash - or “Moosetown” as it’s usually called.
