You either like liver or you don't.. if you do.. then quality and gormet taste is important.. Its like wine... Some wine tastes very good, some tastes like it was strained through a sock.. and some through a dirty sock..
1) McCain's rallies are hardly enormous. They're town hall meetings. Obama's rallies are enormous.
2) McCain himself said he wasn't "worried about an old terrorist" being associated with Obama, that this was about "trusting" Obama. Well, I am worried about a terrorist being close to Obama. And so should you. And I think undecided voters would be as well. So I say tell him that. Perhaps you've forgotten the "tin ear" McCain has demonstrated in the past...immigration reform...campaign finance reform. And you're gonna tell me we shouldn't let him know what we think? You make laugh. For someone so wise you sure have a short memory. BTW, his campaign was stagnant until he chose Gov. Palin to be his running mate. You don't think he was responding to us?
3) This has nothing to do with sleeping at night. This has to with keeping Barack Obama out of the White House. This has to do with the fact that the MSM is not going to report on a lot of this especially if McCain continues to buddy up to them. Ayers is a terrorist. That statement needs to come out of McCain's mouth as strongly as possible. Then and only then will the MSM respond. They'll have to because he said it. If you don't agree then don't send him a message. But don't think for a minute you've convinced me not to. You haven't.
I'm not looking for verbal candy. I'm looking for a candidate whose slide in the polls is continuing because of his present course of action. I'm looking for a candidate to start acting like he wants to be president. I'm looking for a way to make sure this country doesn't end up with a Marxist being called Mr. President. McCain was never my first choice but I'm stuck with him now and, damn it, he's gonna lose this thing if he doesn't sh!t or get off the pot. I'm not threatening the Senator that he will actually lose votes. I'm simply telling him that that possibility exists if he doesn't realize he needs the base of the GOP to get him elected as well as some undecided voters. In other words, without us he doesn't win and he's not doing much right now to keep us from saying, "Screw it." It's not a threat...it's a fact of life.
So here's the deal. You sit back on your hands and do nothing, pal. And I'll send letters to McCain, urge others to do the same and try to facilitate some kind of changes that can help McCain win this thing because God knows his present course of action ain't gettin' it. And we'll both feel good about what we've done, OK.
BTW, do us both a favor and don't waste your time responding to this. You won't convince me and I obviously won't sway you.
McCain’s military service to our nation was admirable.
But if anyone, McCain himself included, thinks that he will somehow win the highest office on the planet because of that service, or that he is somehow exempt from fighting for the presidency because of it, he (and anyone else who thinks so) is sadly mistaken.
He has to go out every day and make a cogent argument that he is the best candidate for the job.
Then and only then could he win this. Pictures of airplanes and stories about heroism won’t do it.
