McCain is trying to tone down the over-the-top, extremist and bigoted rhetoric coming from his supporters with a simple message “it’s got to be respectful.” It did not go over that well among some of his hardcore Republican base who repeatedly booed the GOP nominee and that message today. It was really a must see. At his second straight town hall meeting in as many days-McCain was repeatedly (6 different times in fact–including by former US Sen. Rudy Boschwitz) called on to fight harder against Obama and bring up the Democrat’s associations with Bill Ayers, Wright and others-but McCain tamped down his recent “who is the real barrack obama” rhetoric and begged supporters to conduct themselves in a respectful manner Friday.
Sorry. Gotta give McCain a break - at least for now.

I hate the fact that we're going to have to drag this guy across the finish line like Rush says, but we have to to keep The Messiah as far away from the White House as possible. Give ‘em hell Sarah!
