Uhhh..that's not what the report says, from my layman's reading. It seems to claim that she violated a statute of the state of Alaska: Title 39. Public Officers and Employees Chapter 52. Alaska Executive Branch Ethics Act Section 110. Scope of Code.

The opinion of the investigator was that she violated some ethical statutes, but that she did not violate the law in firing him. She could fire him just because she woke up cranky that morning. That is her right.

What can they do if you violate ethical statutes? Kick you out?
