Unlike Dole who resigned his Senate seat to run for President, McCain isn’t willing to risk his Washington career to win the job. He is positioned to return to the club atmosphere of the Senate and the Sunday morning talk show circuit. To be an elder statesman in the Senate and the Republican voice of moderation on the talk shows, he has to play by the rules of political correctness. Our founding fathers put everything on the line — their lives, their fortunes, and their careers. Even though the Republic is in great peril, McCain’s ego is so large, he can’t risk his Washington status for the sake of the country. Can a man like this truly be viewed as a patriot?

We should learn our lesson to never have a Senate candidate ever again. Having said that, we need to continue to support his candidacy to save this land!
