(CNN) Hockey Moms might be the hot political demographic of the moment, but NASACAR Dads haven't been forgotten.
The McCain campaign is moving Sarah Palin's Monday appearance from the Arthur Ashe Center in downtown Richmond, Virginia capacity 6,000 to a much larger outdoor venue: the Richmond International Raceway, which hosts two NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races yearly and can accommodate over 100,000 people.
The campaign doesn't expect to fill all those seats, but McCain's mid-Atlantic regional director Trey Walker said the demand for Palin tickets has nearly quadrupled the capacity of the original event site, the Arthur Ashe Center in downtown Richmond.

The Republicans are dead, yet drawing record crowds? At least our 'dead' voters are legal and above the ground!

That would be devastating for Obama if Palin filled that place up but I doubt it.
It’s a race track not an arena and the distances between speaker and audience are too far. I would think they can draw 25k+ and fill an end of it, though.
Just getting the upgrade from the smaller venue is good news in itself!

I’m on the Mississippi Coast, but if I was sure I could get in, I’d make the trip.
Maybe we need to do a down and dirty FReeper weekend drill.
Get some folks excited and fill that stadium.
0bama and his media yapping lap dogs would freak!!
