(CNN) Hockey Moms might be the hot political demographic of the moment, but NASACAR Dads haven't been forgotten.
The McCain campaign is moving Sarah Palin's Monday appearance from the Arthur Ashe Center in downtown Richmond, Virginia capacity 6,000 to a much larger outdoor venue: the Richmond International Raceway, which hosts two NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races yearly and can accommodate over 100,000 people.
The campaign doesn't expect to fill all those seats, but McCain's mid-Atlantic regional director Trey Walker said the demand for Palin tickets has nearly quadrupled the capacity of the original event site, the Arthur Ashe Center in downtown Richmond.

Thanks Davey :)
Darn, I lost the first post. Now there it is. Sorry about that.
I was saddened to hear Ralph Stanley endorsing That One
By all means, get plenty of tickets and take a bunch of people with you!!!
Makes you really wonder doesn’t it?
LOL. That leaves 2 free seats. Sorry but an Obama sticker won't go well at a NASCAR track. They would be greeted with "We don't get many of your kind around here."
Ping
I want none of those idiot hussein worshipers there....
I’ll be there. I have my tickets.
Might be able to do Denny Hamlin’s car. He’s a local boy; his folks only live a mile or so from me.
They'll be there, you can count on it. And they'll be drowned out by the Palin supporters as they're escorted away in their cute little pink shirts.
I wish McCain’s website could stream these events. It’s probably too expensive but if they could, they would have the McCain/Palin news network and circumvent the worthless MSM.
They should sell beer and watch them get their ass kicked.
Kewl! I’m gonna try and go.
I expect a huge crowd!
You know, it might not be totally stupid to schedule some of their speeches in the evening and widely publicize that they’ll be streaming them on the web. Catch some people who can’t follow along on the web during the day.
That’s GREAT!!!! I was going anyway but now it’s right next door to where I’m going to be that day.
For those that might not know it the track is located in and area that might be called an Osama strong hold.
We fill that place up and it will make a REAL statement!!!!
Well, Pop has his ticket printed out. If they don’t honor it, I can always do what I did at the same racetrack in about 1975 when I was in college. I was selling cider for the VA Tech Horticulture club there at the State Fair, and me and a buddy didn’t have squat for $$$. So I boosted her butt over the wall and crawled over to see the tractor pull & etc. Suppose that will still work?
