The Sun Times today gave a major clue that Barack Obama will indeed go down with Tony Rezko, sooner rather than later. It looks as though Rezko is about to turn on Alexi Giannoulias, the 30-year old State Treasurer of Illinois (who was elected only because Obama backed him).
Heres where all the clues are and then well walk you through the local Chicago politics on how todays hint by the Sun Times has us convinced, for the first time ever, that prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald could indeed send Barack Obama to jail.
We need to repeat that: we never believed, until now, that Obama would go to jail for anything related to Rezko. Today, this breaking news about what Rezko is singing to the Feds about makes us reconsider all of that.
Barack Obama will serve a prison sentence in the next few years because knowing Fitzgerald, there is no reason he would be going through all of this if that was not the targeted goal in the long term.

You're kidding, right?
Arkansas has nothing on Chicago in the corrupt establishment, funny business area. If this guy is singing, he best be under US Marshall Witness Protection.
Ping me if they get Barney Frank or any of the Fannie and Freddie group.
Actually Bill Clinton was impeached...he just wasn't removed...I believe it was Dingy Harry who asked that Bill not be removed because, after all, his term was coming to an end and what possible damage could he do in the amount of time he had left...I still choke over that speech...
ping!
If even 10% of what you posted comes to pass then Fitz will go down in the history books and it would have been well worth it for him to to build up his bi-partisan credentials by taking down scooter.
Makes a good dream anyway.
Don’t get me wrong - I hope they’re all right and they run this weasel and his cronies out of the country on a rail.
But - we are dealing with Hillary supporters here, who by nature tend to be unrealistic people...heck just look at their candidates platform...so I’m looking at it with a high degree of skepticism.
She lost, not because of her own deficit in qualifications, but because the machinery of the radical left marshaled every political trick against her. The radicals utilized union thug tactics to win. From the top of the party down to the state bosses in the caucus states, a male with no resume was lifted to the pinnacle of politics over a woman with a major historical political portfolio. This was bad enough, but insult was added to injury when, in true leftist fashion, anyone protesting the means by which zerO won was pretty much told to drop dead or shut up and support him. That disdain and arrogance, IMO, is what cost the donks 24% of the female vote. And these women had a place to go, especially after Palin was selected. They also had the organization, the money, the connections and the skills to make their protest count and that is what they are doing.
Bill was impeached because of the Monica stuff. Had that event never happened, Ken Starr would have never indicted the Clintons.
I’ll believe it when I see it.
I’ve been of the thinking the Clinton’s do not want Obama to win ever since the primaries when it looked like he even had a chance to beat Hillary. The first paragraph in the history of the Obama presdiency will list the Clinton’s as being the first obsticle he overtook in the road to the White House.
We will soon find out if they are going to be the culprits behind the October surprise this year. Me thinks if they think their is a chance the economy will still be weak by the time 2011 comes around and they think they might have a chance in 2012 against McCain or Palin if he decides to serve just one term, then I think they just might release the hounds.
But if it looks like Obama is in for a solid win in a few weeks and their life long pollsters tell them so, they’ll hold back because I really think she wants to become the Senate Majority Leader. IF the Clinton’s finger prints are discovered on anything and Obama wins, their political history is written and she’ll never be more than the US Senator from New York.
