I find the Underdog narrative very appealing at this stage of the game. McCain was excited to unleash this new talking point...said it with a smile and tons of energy.

I think many Americans love a good story of triumph...we love the underdog good guy. I think this is a good way to swing over some independents.

any other thoughts on the underdog narrative?

So true, taking the position of the underdog is better than saying, “The polls are wrong, we’re going to win.”
As you mentioned, American’s love to root for the underdog, so maybe they’ll vote for one to?
