This guy is living proof that intelligence may not be genetic.

He's intelligent. He just has no sense. Intelligence is just the processor. It doesn't govern what gets put on the old hard drive. Intelligence gives you vocabulary, but doesn't inform you of which words to use, what thoughts to have. Intelligence gives you the ability to percieve, but doesn't give you the ability to judge or discern. And it doesn't do anything to combat your emotional baggage, which I suspect is Chris Buckley's problem.

That's probably the best description of the difference between raw intelligence and common sense I've ever read. Intelligence does not always equal wisdom. Obama and Buckley are both two very intelligent people with neither a lick of common sense or wisdom.
