Anyone know where his younger 1/2 sister was during this time?

Didn't Obama himself decide to stay with g'ma and g'pa as he was tired of traipsing around the world with mom? Did the 1/2 sis stay with g'parents, or did she travel with mom?

At any rate, this man has some serious mommy issues. As with his 1/2 brother, he apparantly feels that none of this is his responsibility, it was the job of government to pay mom's insurance and to give 1/2 bro a check for just breathing air.

His mother and half sister took him back to Hawaii, then the mother and half sister went back to Indonesia. The mother was an anthropologist and remained in Indonesia pretty much up until her illness, when she went back to Hawaii to die.

Someone asked where Obama was during this time and I was wondering the same thing. From Wikipedia, here’s what he was doing from the early to mid 90s:

Beginning in 1992, Obama taught constitutional law at the University of Chicago Law School for twelve years, being first classified as a Lecturer from 1992 to 1996, and then as a Senior Lecturer from 1996 to 2004.[25]

He also, in 1993, joined Davis, Miner, Barnhill & Galland, a twelve attorney law firm specializing in civil rights litigation and neighborhood economic development, where he was an associate for three years from 1993 to 1996, then of counsel from 1996 to 2004, with his law license becoming inactive in 2002.[13][26]

Obama was a founding member of the board of directors of Public Allies in 1992, resigning before his wife, Michelle, became the founding executive director of Public Allies Chicago in early 1993.[13][27] He served from 1993 to 2002 on the board of directors of the Woods Fund of Chicago, which in 1985 had been the first foundation to fund Obama’s DCP, and also from 1994 to 2002 on the board of directors of The Joyce Foundation.[13] Obama served on the board of directors of the Chicago Annenberg Challenge from 1995–2002, as founding president and chairman of the board of directors from 1995–1999 - the project, which ended up spending $110 million dollars did not improve education in the funded schools[28].[13]

Anna lived in Pakistan for the five years beginning in 1987 and ending in 1992. During this time, Obama visited his mother and stayed for a few months. Anna was hired as a consultant by the Asian Development Bank for Pakistan Agricultural Development Bank’s Gujranwalla Agricultural Development Program.

Anna monitored the funds received for this program from the Asian Development Bank and trained the Mobile Credit Officers of the Agricultural Bank. This program was controlled from the Gujranwalla Regional Office. She stayed for five years in the Hilton International Hotel (now Avari Hotel), Lahore. She travelled daily from Lahore to Gujranwalla. When Barack Obama visited Pakistan, he stayed in the same hotel. After returning from Pakistan, she died from cancer within three years.

Anna also worked for the Ford Foundation and Women’s World Bank, establishing micro-credit loans in developing countries. Her antipathy for America and Americans didn’t prevent her from funneling its money to third-world countries

Ok, got a question. Pakistan is notorious for NOT allowing people into the country that are not muslim. So, if Obama and his mother are not or were not muslim, then how is it that he lived there for 5 years and Obama visited her there for a couple of months???
