I'm 71, and I agree with many of your comments. Maybe it's because us old codgers who know what America was like before the late 1950s and'60s are the almost the only people today who can see what's happening to our beloved nation. By the grace of God and the insight into Satanic communism that He granted to Christian men like Douglas McArthur and Ronald Reagan, the US has held communism at bay since WWII in spite of the 5th column that was planted here in the two decades before that terrible war. But the cultural revolution that was first instigated by a few members of the elite northeastern intellectual class before and during the Great Depression years, then began to emerge on a wider scale shortly after WWII, and came to national prominence in the 1960s Vietnam war era has come to near completion IMHO, and is only waiting for a few more important details to fall into place before being fully completed
I said all that to say this. I am coming around more and more to the conclusion that what is happening in the US and the world is what was foreseen by God from before the beginning of man's existence on earth and foretold by Him in prophetic scripture. As a dedicated Christian I believe the bible from cover to cover, or "lid to lid" as my sainted grandfather used to say. I believe that probably within the next few years, certainly the next one or two decades, the vision of far future world events that was seen by the Apostle John and recorded by him on the orders of Jesus Christ as the book of the Apocalypse will become reality. John's description of a global economy controlled by a central authority with the capability to track the buying and selling practices of any person on earth is now possible, and is just one example of the accuracy of John's vision that has been ridiculed by non-believers for centuries.
The satellite TV technology that can make any event anywhere on the globe visible in real time at any other point on the globe can make possible another prophesied event that until a few decades ago was thought to be so impossible that not even God could pull it off. That event is the ability of people all around the globe to watch the prophesied execution and miraculous restoration to life of the two resurrected old testament prophets who will be publicly executed on orders of the global dictator known as Antichrist after a period of time in Jerusalem preaching and teaching the Israelis about their fatal mistake of striking a bargain with Antichrist. John tells us that their execution and subsequent restoration to life will be seen by people everywhere on earth at the same time. That became possible only very recently, but was used by skeptics for many decades to "prove" that the bible is full of errors and impossible prophecies.
I could go on with many more illustrations of John's prophecies being fulfilled or obviously about to be fulfilled, but due to the length of this post already I won't. Suffice it to say that these prophetic events I have noted are just the tip of the iceberg of prophetic scripture regarding the end of this present age and the beginning of a new 1000 year period of unprecedented peace and prosperity that will follow the destruction of the present world systems.
But my point when I began this overlong post was that what we see happening in this election process with the highly implausible rise to prominence and worshipful adoration of a charismatic candidate who was unknown to almost all Americans until this last primary season is unprecedented in US history. IMHO Barrak HUSSEIN Obama's relatively sudden arrival on the national political landscape and his seemingly unstoppable march to the White House is being orchestrated by a sinister but unseen hand that is carrying out an important role in what God told John 1900 years ago would occur in the last days of this present age.
I only wish that I had the ability to write more clearly and concisely about what I believe is happening. But since I don't, I would recommend that anyone who believes the bible do some prayer guided research into the matter after laying aside for the moment any preconceived ideas inherited from denominational doctrines, and make up his or her own mind. I am not saying that everything I believe about the prophecies I spoke of is correct and everyone else's ideas are mistaken. I know that I may be only one person who has reached the conclusions I have stated, and there are many more interpretations of John's prophecies. I think it's quite probable that no one person's interpretation is correct on all points, but when all reasonable interpretations are taken into account the most accurate versions will stand out clearly to anyone who approaches the matter with intent to accept as absolute truth what God wrote.
However, this is very serious business folks that involves the future of you and your family, don't snicker and point at me until you do some research into bible prophecy beginning in Genesis, continued through Daniel, Ezekiel, and many of the "minor" prophetic books and concluding in the Revelation. Keep in mind that your studies MUST be guided by a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and much prayer to the God of the bible if you want to reach a correct conclusion.
