How many times have I looked at a big story regarding Obama and thought to myself - Aha! Now THIS will be the end of him!
But to no avail.
But here I go again - always an optimist!
I don’t know HOW Obama can wriggle out of this one.
This stinks to high heaven and gets right to the heart of the validity of our elections.
Pretty soon we’re all going to demand purple ink for our fingers at the polling sites.
I think the focus on this needs to be not so much on the "clerical error" -- easily explained away -- but on the fact that he paid that much to a corrupt organization that is involved in voter fraud all across the country.
Somthing like this from McCain might be nice: "Americans all across the country are enraged right now by the blatant voter fraud apparently being carried out under their noses by this ACORN group that you are so cozy with. So why did you pay them $800,000? $800,000!!! Almost a million dollars to a corrupt organization now being investigated in dozens of states? What did you get for that money, Barack? The American people demand to know."
