Also this is only one form of cancer and it doesn't prevent all forms of it as well. How many women will no longer get pelvic exams because they think they are safe?
Another reason to consider the benefit of a vaccination?
Who is to say that now the virus won't mutate making this vaccine pointless in 20 or so years..
The people who die between now and then.
Also this is only one form of cancer and it doesn't prevent all forms of it as well.
Hells bells, this is one of the stupidest comments I've read in a while. In essence what you are saying is that since the vaccine doesn't prevent all types of cancer, it is useless? I hope not. Vaccines do nothing more than trigger a response by the body to kill a specific virus. Unfortunately, cancers are the result of multiple mechanisms, most of which have nothing to do with viruses.
To think that since a vaccine which might reduce a specific cancer is not a cure all for cancers somehow makes that vaccine less valuable is unintelligent at best.
How many women will no longer get pelvic exams because they think they are safe?
The stupid ones.
If the vaccine manufacturer, or any associated information, advertising, or advice, in any way shape or form infers that women should reduce their health screenings or checkups please post such information.
