I wish.....”We are in tough cicumstances. I see it in the faces of the men and women I meet. Fear, uncertaintity, doubt, has crept into the minds of most Americans. Times are tough. There was a time in my life when things were very dark. I had every reason not to have much hope. Despair was my constant companion. Who did I turn to? Some of the greatest Americans I have ever had the privledge to know(LIST OF NAMES, MOH winners etc.). These men picked me up when I was beaten down. They healed me when my body was sick and broken. These men were, simply put, Americans. The strength and greatness of this Nation flowed through them and strengthened me. It was the defining moment of my life. I love this country and what it did for me. How about you Senator Obama. What was the darkest moment of your life? Who were your friends and how did they help you through it? What about the greatness of this nation inspired you during this time of trial?”

John McCain would accomplish many things in doing this. Most Americans still love this country. McCain would appeal to them and at the same time make Obama talk about himself. Anything Obama came up with would pale in comparison. Obama would have to name some friends. Who are his friends? Can he name one? Make him articulate his love for this country. I don’t think he could do it. I think this would really resonate.

I think Senator McCain needs you on his campaign staff.
