I have a theory! Just like in the corporate world, we should spin-off all of the states that vote for Obama into a new Socialist Republic of Amerika. And the remaining states should build a long fence to keep them out of what's left of the REAL United States of America. Then, we ask the Mexican states and the Canadian provinces that believe in “real” Americanism to join us in a greater U.S.A. The socialist states of Canada, Mexico and the former U.S. states can then link up to become a giant third world dump.
The terrorist is not one person. The terrorist is GREED.
Over the last ten years, greed made the leap from Gordon Gecko to Gordon Johnson of Peoria, Illinois.
Society is filled with the cancer of greed, and the bill is due. In ‘87, it was a handful of financial firms. Today, it’s almost every visible sector of the economy.
It’s greed for wealth (house-flipping, liar loans)
It’s greed for fame (reality shows, MySpace, American Idol)
It’s greed for convenience (abortion! euthanasia!)
It’s greed for dominance (cloning, embryonic research)
It’s greed for food (super-size-me, obesity, Costco)
It’s greed for power (character assassination, gossip)
It’s greed for status (my SUV is bigger than yours)
It’s greed for lust (alternative lifestyles, promiscuity, contraception)
GREED GREED GREED! It all comes to NOTHING! At the end of the day, and when the dust settles, we will have ourselves and our loved ones. And if we’re lucky, we have a job, a roof over our heads, and bellies that aren’t empty.
This is a seismic shift coming. People speak of God “punishing” or God lifting His protection. He doesn’t need to actively punish us. Our own greed punishes us by lifting the veil of illusion on the fallacy that man can live apart from God. Our society has gone from God-fearing to God-despising.
This is not America.
