Calls grow for a new model for global trade

Now come the second thoughts on globalization.

Never before have world markets been so integrated. And yesterday's concerted interest rate cuts by central banks in the United States and other countries from Britain to China was a signal that the financial crisis rippling around the globe has grown too big for any one of them - even the US Federal Reserve - to contain on its own.

The Bretton Woods system of monetary management established the rules for commercial and financial relations among the world's major industrial states. The Bretton Woods system was the first example of a fully negotiated monetary order intended to govern monetary relations among independent nation-states.

Delegates deliberated upon and signed the Bretton Woods Agreements during the first three weeks of July 1944.

Setting up a system of rules, institutions, and procedures to regulate the international monetary system, the planners at Bretton Woods established the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) (now one of five institutions in the World Bank Group) and the International Monetary Fund (IMF). These organizations became operational in 1945 after a sufficient number of countries had ratified the agreement.

Exactly that the world financial system is too big for government to make it act at government’s will is good, not bad. The only problem is that FannieMae and FreddieMac were able to act like private concerns when the were not and nobody in the market believe the US government would not step in and make their paper good.

So, Is this the first step to America becoming Zimbabwe?

Does the UN come in and demand our money to take care of Ethiopia?

Does Putin tell the US what we can and/or cannot do with Iran.

Is this the end of our sovereignty?

Good by America, it was nice knowing ya. MY GOD DOESN'T ANYONE SEE WHAT IS HAPPENING? Where are the leaders now ? Don't they know what is going on? Call your Senators and Congressmen and let them know you want the madness stopped NOW!

What we need is one entity to deal with this new commerce. We’re so interconnected now and witnessed by the impact of all these financial systems that I think we need one global system set up to protect regular people and to help them stay in their homes.

We need one system to monitor the greedy capitalists who throw swanky parties with our bailout money! We need one system to handle all these things because things have grown beyond just one country now.

It’s simple. Set up one system and require everbody to have a credit card or some similar RFD device to make purchases. For those people in poorer countries simply implant them with an RFD device. Down the road we can just implant 666 in everyone’s skin and be done with it!

What it really is- is an attempt by global marxists to create their “new world order”. Don’t think for a minute that this global market collapse just happened all by itself. It was planed to the last detail By people like Ayers involved in groups called ACORN.

The fog is only just starting to lift on what is really going on, despite MSM doing all it can to dig in it’s heels and cover up Obama the “messiah’s” attempts to usher in a new Marxist America”

That’s just what the global Marxists want. Congratulations, you think just like them. To hell with Capitalism right? Bye bye competition, bye bye commodity markets, lets just have one world entity looking after all that stuff....

"We need one system to monitor the greedy capitalists who throw swanky parties with our bailout money! We need one system to handle all these things because things have grown beyond just one country now."

You still don't get it, do you.

It isn't "greedy capitalists" throwing swank parties with my bail out money.
We've been ripped off by a bunch of Marxist Obamites who literaly STOLE trillions of dollars from our banking system in the form of loans given them by the banks under threat from ACORN. ACORN then began to pressured FANNY MAE to buy up these bundles of loans, billions and trillions of dollars worth, and then sell them on world wide bond markets.

The they even had the nerve to demand ACORN get 25% of the profits back, billions of dollars more, from the loans the government buys back with that 700 billion.

That's why they didn't want McCain at that bail out meeting. But McCain went anyways, and scuttled the democrat/Obama plan to ram through this billion dollar rip off.

Dude, relax, it was sarcasm. I agree with you. I was merely trying to demonstrate what the Obamaites will say. Ahem, didn’t my suggestion to people get stamped with the numbers 666 tip you off?
