Other than the fact he put his life in jeopardy, I’d say it was a brilliant move. It was done on purpose, he either gets to Kenya to tell the truth, or gets kicked out for wanting to. Either way, most likely he got the exact response he wanted. He wants for this episode of his experience there to be leaked to the Kenyan populous.
