For the past several weeks, Republican operatives have been stepping up their efforts in critical swing states claiming voter registration groups have been engaged in a massive voter fraud effort in an attempt to influence the outcome of November’s presidential election.

The allegations took on a new sense of urgency Tuesday when law enforcement authorities in Nevada raided the offices of The Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN), an organization that advocates voter registration and participation among low-income people and minorities.

How long ago did BHO express interest in running for POTUS? When was he involved in training at ACORN?

Your point that Obama is heavily linked to ACORN is a great one. Someone here will have answers to your questions. Obama was a lawyer for ACORN and he was involved in representing a plaintiff in a suit brought against CITIGROUP demanding loans for low-income people.

"the notion of widespread voter fraud... is itself a fraud. Evidence of actual fraud by individual voters is painfully skimpy."

So, ACORN doesn't have a long proven history of its workers committing voter fraud?

I think I see a pattern here. Anyone who doesn't is a Democrat who wants to perpetuate voter fraud. I could understand one instance of over zealous employees getting caught and ACORN stopping the problem, but ACORN keeps letting it happen, all the while saying they're not responsible. Sorry, but RICO applies if you run an organization knowing federal felonies are constantly being committed by your members.

Funny thing: I just spent about 5 minutes searching around on cnn.com and I couldn’t find a single story about the ACORN investigations.

I didn’t go deep into the website, but on the main pages, nada.

CNN apparently doesn’t think this is news worthy of being reported to the American people.
