No Scandal from Keys himself; just a failed campaign run on the Illinois GOP side. They thought that running a black man would solve the failed campaign of “lap-dance boy” Ryan. They had to yank him for infidelity. Then they ran Keys who wasn’t even an Illinois resident. (a real low point for the Illinois GOP!!) I for one longed that they ran the dairy-man runner-up Jim Oberweis. They caved! All O-wronga had to do was to show up! The base stayed home and now the Illinois GOP is still in recovery mode.
Oberweis is one of the biggest political frauds in the state of Illinois, and that’s really saying something. This toxic buffoon couldn’t even hold a SAFE Republican district held by the former House Speaker (not saying much about Dennis Hastert, but he was so willfully blind that he insisted on getting this guy the nomination when all the smart people inside the district and out were telling him to back Sen. Chris Lauzen, who would’ve easily held the seat). Guess asking the RINO establishment to back winners is too much.
