I'm still reading the thread, so maybe this has already been mentioned. Print outs of emails don't consitute evidence, nor would even the hard drive on which the original emails are purported to exist. Corsi would need to have in his hands the actual computer which is purported to have received the emails. That, at least, would substantiate the legitimacy of the actual emails having been received as reported and not tampered with. It would require some sort of computer forensics investigator to authenticate. From there, we'd only have proof that the emails themselves are legitimate, but we'd still lack proof of the sender (although, with enough time and justification, perhaps search warrants could be obtained). There are certainly other people on FR who would know more about this than I do, but this is my understanding based on some passing experiences.

I'm confused by Corsi's story of having emails. I hope he has much more than that, and something(s) that are irrefutable.

Senator Obama was apparently using his Senate email system. If so, the email will be in email archives in the Senate email servers.

I understand that. But, there would have to be solid probable cause to get a search warrant for a dot gov email server. If all Corsi has is printed copies of emails alleged to have been sent by Obama, that's not going to cut it. Those are so easily faked probably most people on FR could do it. My understanding is that even the hard drive that contains the original emails isn't considered proof that there hasn't been tampering. From what I recall, a computer forensic specialist must be able to examine the actual computer which received the emails to make a definite determination that at least the emails themselves aren't fake. I believe that would be required before a search warrant could be executed to obtain access to the U.S. Senate email servers.
